WCS Visitor Procedures

If you're a parent, grandparent or community member who plans on visiting a Williamson County School, please be aware of the district's school visitor procedures before you arrive.

Williamson County Schools has created a three-tier volunteer system to help protect our children and promote a high level of volunteerism in the county. If you plan to volunteer in the classroom or chaperone a field trip, it is necessary to become a WCS Tier III Volunteer. This allows you to work one-on-one with our students without direct teacher supervision, and needs to be completed every five years. Due to a very busy beginning of the school year, it is always better to get this done as early as possible.

To apply for Tier III, click below, you can find the application as well as the process for becoming a Tier III Volunteer. After filling out the application, please stop by the office to complete a confidentiality agreement and make a copy of your drivers license.

Tier III Volunteers badges are made at CES on a regular basis or by appointment. Check the newsletter for badge making dates.
